Below are a majority of the reduction glazes (which
I make myself) that I use. A reduction firing is achieved in a gas kiln by reducing the presence of oxygen in the firing
process at a high temperature. These glazes are achieved at Cone 10 reduction - 2350 deg. Each firing is unique so there
is variation in the glaze result. This firing process takes 12 to 16 hours manually and several days for the kiln to cool
before the pieces can be removed.
